Spam Blocker Service

Let me start by saying that we were not big fans of spam blocking services which put the onus back on users to enter a key if they are not part of a pre-agreed upon white list you have defined.  However, as we point out in this spam arrest review, there are times when the right spam blocking service is very valuable.

As a home user, I certainly have no problem using a service such as spam arrest as an anti spam blocker solution.  Our thinking though was that it was too risky for business use where you are often communicating with legitimate, first time emailers.

I will admit though, spam arrest has been a a great service for my multiple residential email addresses - and does provide very good visibility into quarantined email allowing me to still allow email through at my own discretion. It's important to mention in this spam arrest review, that you maintain complete control of your quarantined email - a very positive aspect at least for us. 

Of course, as part of your anti spam effort, you can choose to simply allow the spam arrest service to continue to quarantine or automatically delete the mail as it is filtered.

In terms of a spam arrest review, well we certainly found the service simple to setup - as a service there is no software to download, nothing to install and certainly very basic configuration means that the spam arrest review for ease of use is very high.

We tried several spam blocker services, none of them had quite the ease of use or feature set that spam arrest had.  As an alternative to spam filters your email provider or ISP may have, or separate spam blocker software solutions we review here , spam arrest will certainly make your life much easier, block 99% of the spam you receive and reduce you vulnerability to emails carrying viruses and worms.
